Modernism Week presents… Ambassador of Americana, Charles Phoenix, as your tour guide, for this 2.5 hr open-air bus tour featuring dozens of mid-century modern residential, commercial and civic landmarks that have made Palm Springs world famous for great architecture.
This fun-filled not-to-be-missed tour experience includes Neutra’s iconic Kaufmann House, Wexler Steel Homes, Albert Freys’ Palm Springs City Hall and iconic Tramway gas station, (now the Palm Springs Visitors Center), the one stop on the tour.
You’ll see the legendary homes of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley, entire neighborhoods of mid-century modern homes plus Spanish style architecture including the O’Donnell House and Villa Paradiso Estate.
All this and more will be seen sitting up high, some locations and viewed over hedges and walls.

Tour begins and ends at CAMP, festival headquarters for Modernism Week.
Come prepared for lots of sun. All seats are on the upper deck of the bus and EXPOSED to the elements. Weather could be either warm and sunny or cool. Sunscreen and hats and or jackets are recommended. Please plan accordingly.
