Charles Phoenix’s Test Kitchen: Submission Policy
Thank you for contributing to the Charles Phoenix Test Kitchen project (“the Test Kitchen”). To avoid any misunderstandings, please read this policy governing all material submitted to Charles Phoenix via the Test Kitchen, email, or otherwise.
All information, data, text, software, music, sound, diagrams, photographs, graphics, video, messages or any other materials whatsoever (collectively, “material”) is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. Charles Phoenix will not be liable for any use or disclosure of any submissions.
By submitting material, you represent that you are the sole owner of all rights in the submission, or that you have the absolute right to license its use as provided in this policy.
You agree to indemnify and hold Charles Phoenix harmless from and against any loss, liability, claim, or damage sustained by Charles Phoenix as a result of a claim or allegation that your submission: (i) infringes any patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, or other intellectual property right of any third party, (ii) violates the personal rights of any third party, or (iii) is illegal or offensive.
While you will retain ownership of the copyright in the material you submit, you understand and acknowledge that the material you submit shall become part of a database, and that Charles Phoenix will own the compilation copyright in that database.
By submitting material, you grant Charles Phoenix a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, translate, publicly present, publicly display, and distribute your submission (including any portion or derivative thereof) in any form and by any means for any purpose whatsoever. Charles Phoenix may sublicense all or part of its rights and licenses or assign them to third parties.
Neither Charles Phoenix nor any third party using your submission in accordance with this policy will be obligated to pay you any royalties or other compensation for use of your submission.
You understand that submissions may or may not appear on the Site, now or in the future. Material not immediately used becomes a permanent part of Charles Phoenix’s library of unpublished submissions for possible future use. Material submitted may also be edited for content before publishing.
By submitting material you represent that you are of legal age and mental capacity to form a binding contract. Alternately, your parent or legal guardian may contact us to provide formal consent to this policy.
