Charles Phoenix, we just came home from your Disneyland Tour! We had a wonderful time following you around Los Angeles. Thanks for all the stories, facts and fiction, and for the snackies, too. Our daughter says you know cars. Too bad we neglected to tell you of our ’55 Bel Air, our ’64 2-door Chevelle wagon, our ’66 GTO, and our ’70 El Camino with a 454!

Again, thanks for a great day!

April 7th will be the 4th time I’ve taken this tour :-D

The follow up email states the no-host lunch will be at Clifton’s (yeah!!!!!) but the above itinerary lists Phillipe’s. Which is correct?

  3. Charles, Charles, Charles… won’t remember meeting me…but I DO remember meeting you at Bumpershoot, this year, in Seattle…I’m Mary Beth Coffey and I manage Oaks Amusement Park in Portland….I need your help with something…I know that you will know this….we are redoing our Bumper Cars with a mid 1960′s space concept. (Think…Here’s Boy Elroy!!!!) We want some ‘sparkle” on the walls and I have an idea how to do this…in 1950 – 60…they made signs out of hundreds (thousands) of little plastic (Mylar?) circles and when the wind blew over them, the circles shimmied in the wind and the sign looked fantastic….do you know what I’m talking about? And if you do…do you know what those signs were called??? I have just started looking for them and have not had luck…I think we could use the disks individually and when they moved in the wind they would sparkle. In advance, thanks for your consideration!!! My pal and I thought you were coming to the Aladdan Theatre last Dec…but I guess we found and old web page of yours…we were very sorry not to see you. Thanks so much…I know you are a busy, busy person…but hope you know this answer! Thanks…Mary Beth
