A fun-filled live slideshow performance celebrating landmarks, legends & lore of America’s greatest space age city: Downey, CA!

Including: The oldest McDonald’s on Earth; the first Taco Bell; the world’s greatest car-hop drive-in restaurant, Bob’s Big Boy; Downey’s virtually unknown “ghost town” remains of the L.A. County “Poor Farm;” the fairy-tale-with-a-tragic-ending story of pop music’s most successful duo, the Carpenters; mid-century ranch style homes; the “space ship factory” where the Apollo Command Module was designed and much, much more…

Followed by a Pineapple upside “Downey” cake and coffee party, all benefiting the  Downey Rose Float Association!
