You’ll learn how Walter Knott discovered the boysenberry, why Mrs. Knott began serving her famous fried chicken dinners and what inspired the creation America’s first permanent theme park, Ghost Town.
Knott’s fans will enjoy the amazing vintage images of Ghost Town’s historic buildings, unique displays, curio shops, colorful characters and favorite attractions including the haunted shack, the mine train, log ride and much more!
Tickets for Charles’ slide show performance show include an all-day Knott’s park pass so fans can explore the old ghost town, ride the old train, pan for gold and enjoy a fried chicken dinner just as visitors have been doing for decades!
Performances, at the Historic Bird Cage Theater in Knott’s Ghost Town. Eric Lynxwiler, co-author of Knott’s Preserved, will join Charles on stage for this very special heartfelt event! Seating is limited – buy tickets now!

Sooo bummed that I didn’t know about this sooner. I grew up in the neighborhood of KBF and went there as a kid before the gates went up. If you do a repeat performance I guarantee I’ll bring all my siblings…
Hey there Charles,
Grew up at Knotts and now my daughter and I are travelling from Denver when you added your second show. Thanks so much! Might bring my 5-yr old granddaughter at the last minute. If so, will she need a ticket to YOUR SHOW? (I can put her on my lap–but don’t mind buying a ticket if needed.)
Looking forward to this show sooo much!
Hi Charles,
I second Eric’s comment. I too am a season pass holder because I love Knott’s and it’s history. IS there a way to get a pro-rated ticket price??? Pretty please : )
Thanks and love your website!
The reason I am a season pass holder is because I love Knott’s and the history behind it! I know much of the history from my parents who have been going since the 50s but i would love to learn more from you and Eric Lynxwiler.
C’MON CHARLES HOWZA BOUT A PRO-RATED TICKET PRICE??!
Hi Charles! Can tickets be purchased the day of at Knott’s or must they be purchased via the link above? Thanks and I adore you!
Hi Charles! Thanks so very much for doing this! Everyone in Southern California should know the history of Knott’s Berry Farm! Question: Is the $65 ticket good for only the day you will be there or is there an expiration date on it? I know this is a weird question but I want to see and learn all I can about Knott’s from you and I too am a pass holder. Thanks again
Motts Miniatures! The Seal show! Knotts = Heaven! Thanks Charles
David,
I’m sorry the ticket price is still $65. even for pass holders. Hope you can be there!
Charles
Hi Charles — What about people who are Knotts season pass holders? Any chance of a ticket price that doesn’t include park admission? Thanks.
