ITINERARY:
This 5 hr walking and driving tour begins and ends in the heart of town at the ONTARIO MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND ART, where is told with treasured artifacts, pop-culture collectibles and curios all beautifully displayed in the former Ontario City Hall built in 1936…
Then we’ll be off to the valley’s most charming destination, GRABER OLIVES, where the family has been curing and canning olives since 1894! …Think early California! its like a Betty will give us a fascinating tour of the curing and canning sheds before we sample delicious FREE olives while shopping in the beautiful gift & gourmet shops…
From there a festive stroll past one of Southern California’s most elaborate civic holiday displays, twelve original 1959 RELIGIOUS DIORAMAS telling the story of the Christmas with the original hand carved life-size figurines…
Right around the corner at LOGAN’S CANDY, the wonderful candy man will demonstrate the fine art of candy cane making and hand out FREE samples… a very special local holiday day tradition since 1933…
By then we’ll all be starving so its off to VINCE’S SPAGHETTI, for a three course sit down dinner at the “Worlds Largest Spaghetti Restaurant,” homespun and family run since 1945.
Tickets include school bus transportation, museum admissions and dinner. Make sure to wear comfy shoes, bring some spending money and your appetite!
