Astro Weenie Christmas Tree

Astro-Twinkie Xmas Tree

Saw the Astro-Weenie tree on Conan and it saved my life! We had to make a dessert for my husband’s white-trash themed comapany xmas party. Nothing says redneck like pre-processed ingredients, so I cleaned the local supermarket out of snack cakes and voila! For added flair, we wrapped a string of battery-powered led multi-color lights (looked everywhere and finally found them at Target) around the cone and poked them through the foil. Next time I’ll put an extra set on because the lights are fantastic! Thanks Charles and Conan!

Astro Weenie Hors d’oeuvre Tree

Hiya, Charles. I couldn’t help but be intrigued by this combination of decoration and hors d’oeuvre so we made one for a group of caregivers who were having a luncheon with us. The results were outstanding!

Astro VEGGIE(!) Christmas Tree

Every year we have a holiday party and this year decided to do something special and different.

Enter the Astro Weenie Christmas Tree — but with a twist!!

Given that we had several vegetarians, we decided to honor them by giving them something special… their very own Astro VEGGIE Christmas tree! Needless to say, it was a HYUUUUUUGE hit – not only with the greenies but us carnivores as well! People were so curious and in awe of it. Some asked where we got it (answer: Astro Christmas Trees are from the FUTURE!) After digesting this info, they well, then devoured this festive (and very politically correct) tree from the future.

Whatta night and whatta Astro Veggie Christmas Tree!!

Astro Weenie Holiday Tree

Hi Charles,

Here is the AWHT that I and my son Matthew and our friends Hazel and Rebecca made for your show at the Haugh Performing Arts Center in Glendora, CA in November, 2010.

Astro Weenie Christmas Tree!

The Astro Weenie Christmas tree was the centerpiece for my Christmas Cocktial party, 2008. It lent an air of respectability and whimsy to an otherwise debaucherous evening. Thank you, Charles Phoenix and thank you Astro Weenie Christmas Tree!

Astro Weenie Tiki God

A few years ago, we attended a Luau Party, and being inspired by the AWCT, I made an Astro Weenie Tiki God as my dish to pass. It included chunks of pineapple, pimento-stuffed green olives, Maraschino cherries, Li’l Smokies wieners, and chunks of Spam, all attached with colored toothpicks. It was a large block of floral foam, wrapped in tin foil, and I used a carved Polynesian Pop bowl as the base to keep it upright. It was a hit! I do have two more views of it available, including a close-up, and a side view, if you’d like to see those.
