My Thanksgiving Cherpumple

I have always loved to bake and thought the cherpumple looked like a fun project. I made my cherpumple for my family and friends for Thanksgiving. It took three days to make. I posted it on my facebook page and everyone was very interested in the recipe and how it turned out.

I made a Cherple for my company picnic this past weekend. I won 1st prize in the ‘Most Creative’ category. It was a big hit! It was funny watching everyone’s reactions to it.

This was my second time making one. I used a spring form pan this time and it made it a WHOLE lot easier.

Amazing! I was going to comment on the Strawbluecher that the insides never look very good, but you have achieved beauty there, too.

Hi Mindy- I used 7 x 7 x 2 pans, and cut the pies to 5″ x 5″ squares (giving a 1″ cake border for support). It worked very well aesthetically, too.

How did you get it fit in the square tins? I like this look a lot better.

    Excellent looking.
