The lake in MacArthur Park is half-manmade, half-natural. It was originally a gully that flooded during the winter; the park’s builders dug it out further and hooked it up to the city water supply.
We enjoyed the show! I laughed, I cried, I felt homesick for Ontario! It was some enchanted evening!
WooHoo! My husband is taking me to Saturday’s show for my birthday! He’s skeptical but grew up in SoCal, so I think he’ll get a kick out of it. I’m ALWAYS up for a retro slide show!
