Christmas Cheer! Sherman Oaks, CA, 1958

Cheers to the shape of that woman’s brassiere, her titty-pink top and her shocking pink hostess pants.

Cheers to the Hugh Hefner wannabee.

Cheers to the two ladies toasting on the couch – especially the most glamorous woman in the history of my slide collection. She wears a timeless-classic ostrich feather hat and smokes a cigarette with an abundance of style.

Cheers to the Christmas tree, the ornaments, garland, lights and heaven-sent angel on top.

Cheers to all of you and yours!

Wishing you and yours the Merriest and the Happiest!

As a collector of vintage slides myself, i know how hard it is to get a really good shot exposure-wise, content-wise and compostion-wise….this one is S*U*P*E*R*B!!! It’s like they knew it would end up in your collection!
    Thanks for posting this :)

I can hardly stop laughing the woman in the hat looks so much like my Mother….Showed it to her and she said” Are you sure it isn’t me?” Thank you
At 82 she still would knock your socks off

My Grandma (we called her Gaga) had a best friend named Vivian and she kinda had that Hedda Hopper vibe that this woman on the couch has. If I had a smoking jacket like that guy has I would be wearing it right now! Should I be concerned that I sort of have a thing for the woman in the high wasted, hot pink, velour pants?
